Cookie Dough Brownie Recipe

This semi-homemade recipe combines the best of 2 desserts- Cookie Dough and Brownies.  A double layered bar of delicious that will be gobbled up in a flash.

Double the recipe and bring a big pan of these Cookie Dough Brownies to the next family barbeque to make a splash. You can make your own brownie mix from scratch or use your favorite box mix.

The one rule while eating these is DO NOT think about the calorie count, otherwise you wont enjoy them and then really, what’s the point?

 Ingredients:

1 box brownie mix

(additional ingredients for mix-water, oil, and egg)

1 cup butter ( 2 sticks) softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 cup milk

Directions:

Butter an 11 x 17 cake pan, set aside.  You can always try this Baker’s Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan [2] if you like the edges.

Mix and bake a packaged brownie mix according to directions or make your own.

Remove from oven allow to cool completely.

Cream butter, brown, and granulated sugar until well mixed.
Mix in vanilla and milk.

Fold in chocolate chips, stir well.

Top cooled brownies with cookie dough mix, press flat and smooth with spatula.

Place in fridge for 30 minutes or more  to allow cookie dough to set.

Cut, serve, and enjoy.
