Hallmark Card Connections – And The Winner IS… #BirthdaySmiles #shop #cbias

I  am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.

choice 3

Hallmark Card # 3 is our winner!

Thank you to everyone who voted on the funniest birthday card for my brother-in-law. Card # 3 was the unanimous winner. Many of you commented that you chose card #3 because it reminded you so much of your relationship with a sibling. I couldn’t agree more!

This past Sunday we had a family lunch to celebrate my brother- in- laws birthday and after a delicious lunch followed by cake he opened his cards.

As per the family tradition the cards were passed around for all to see. When it came to our cards turn to be opened my brother-in-law knew right away who the card was from just by reading the front of the card. Not only did it give him a good laugh, it also brought back childhood memories which is exactly what a good card should do.

connections from hallmark

While I was buying my brother-in-laws birthday card at Walmart (see my adventures here) I went ahead and stocked up on other cards as well.

uncle_card

We purchased a large variety of cards that day. From blank note cards to singing birthday cards.  Hallmark had all of my card needs covered at great prices!

Help Me Pick The Perfect Birthday Card With Hallmark Connections #shop

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.

#Hallmark Connections

I always love watching people in the card aisle at the store.  People can spend hours just looking at cards trying to find the perfect thing to say.  (If you want to see something hilarious check out the Kevin James video about women and greeting cards.  I don’t think there are any bad words- its been a while since I watched it- and it is so true.)

In my husband’s family, giving a card for any occasion is a big deal. I know that when his grandmother gives a card just about every word will be underlined. One family member has been giving the same birthday card for over 20 years. Every year she takes it back and saves it for the next year.    Its cool how the cards are still fitting for each family member too.  Cards for siblings are no different. The brothers are always trying to find the funniest card for their brother.

The family is large enough that we have about one birthday a month! When I flip the calendar on the fridge at the end of each month I am able to see who is next to be celebrated!

Every birthday celebration we pass around the cards given so that we can get a good laugh or reminisce.  With three brothers in the family the cards can be quite entertaining. My husbands oldest brother, also known as Uncle Bubba, has a birthday coming up next week so this morning the kiddos and I headed to WalMart to check out Connections from Hallmark.  We were on the hunt for a funny card. (See our full adventure here.)

Since the gift is for an adult we generally just do gift cards so the actual card itself is SUPER important.  Plus I don’t want to go broke on the card.  If its super funny I may splurge just because a good laugh is priceless.

WalMart had a great selection and the kids had a great time looking at all of the cards and trying to find ones with music in them.  We were able to find 3 great choices.

Now we need your help to pick which you think is the funniest.

Birthday Card Choice #1

choice 1 front   choice # 1 inside

Birthday Card Choice #2 (when you open the card it sounds like a toilet flushing.)

choice 2  choice 2 inside

Birthday Card Choice #3

choice 3  choice 3 inside

So what do you think? Which one should we give Uncle Bubba next week for his birthday? The card with the most votes will be chosen. Don’t let me down!

The cards can also be viewed over on instagram.     Instagram
