Hold Onto Your Mars Easter Coupons!

Yesterday in the paper there should have been a coupon in your Smart Source insert for $1 off of 2 MARS Easter products. Mine was about 3 pages in.

If you have Easter baskets to fill hang onto that coupon and see if you can snag another from someone else.  Next week at Walgreens you can get a GREAT deal with them.

Next week Walgreens is going to have their Snickers Easter Eggs on sale for $.29 each.

Pick up 7 of them (which will total $2.03).  Use 2 coupons and make your total $.03 for 7 eggs!  They will look great nestled in some Easter grass (which you hopefully bought last year after Easter!).

Thanks My Litter!

Walgreens Diapers: $2.50 Per Jumbo Pack

I have to double check the flyer but I am going to put this info out there and confirm it as soon as my paper arrives at the house.

This week Walgreens has their diapers (meaning Walgreens brand) on sale Buy One Get One Free.

And normally they are $8.99 for a bag.  So Buy One Get One Free knocks them down to $4.50 a bag, which is a good deal.

However Walgreens has recently released an Infant Care booklet.  Inside there is a coupon for $2 off Walgreens Jumbo Packs.  You can use that coupon to get an additional $2 off per pack.

So as long as the Jumbo Pack diapers are included in the sale you should be able to get them for $2.50 a package!

How To Use Walgreens Register Rewards

Several nights this week in coupon class I have listened to my co-teacher Brandy explain a great deal at Walgreens right now.  I thought the deal was good enough to merit a mention to those of you who don’t have the opportunity to learn from her wisdom.

This week at Walgreens there are two items you can snag great deals on.  Here is the ideal transaction scenario:

Transaction #1: Colgate Toothpaste (4 oz Total Gum Defense or Total Advanced) $2.99
Pay $2.99 Out of Pocket (plus tax)
Get $2.99 in Register Rewards to use on your next transaction

Transaction #2: Baby Magic Lotion or Hair & Body Wash $3.00
Give them your $2.99 Register Rewards from the toothpaste
Pay $.01 (plus tax)
Get $3.00 in Register Rewards to use on your next transaction

Transaction #3: Colgate Toothpaste $2.99
Grab an inexpensive filler item (we will say it costs $.50)
Give them your $3.00 in Register Rewards from Baby Magic Lotion or Hair & Body Wash
Pay $.49 (plus tax)
Get $2.99 in Register Rewards

Do you see the pattern? You can do this multiple times as long as you do different transaction.  Remember toothpaste expires so don’t clear the store out!

This is a great example of how you can use Walgreens to save some big money!
