If you like to cook or are just looking for some ways to make things special for the holidays, Taste of Home magazine seems like a good source of information.
And to make it frugal for you, they have posted the last several years worth of their magazines for you to browse digitally for FREE!
No registration is required and if you really like something, you can save it to your computer to check out later!
There are also copies of Ziploc Fall Meals 2009 (which seems closer to how I cook), Healthy Lunch Box Ideas 2009, Smoothie Premium 2009 and Hunting and Fishing Magazine cookbook! There seems to be a little something for everyone!
I thought I would post links to some other grocery stores besides Harris Teeter so you can check out some of the good stuff. Next week I am going to begin posting the deals for Farm Fresh Supermarkets, which are only in Virginia and North Carolina. However there are lots of other stores out there with great deals! Here are three of the biggest ones:
Food Lion (Thanks Frugal in Virginia!)
Kroger (Thanks Mommy Snacks!)
Target Super Stores (Thanks Stretching a Buck!)
Happy Grocery Shopping!
I LOVE getting free samples and received several great ones in the mail last night- each with coupons inside! So I thought I would post some of them below so you can sign up if you would like!

There are a few instances where I think spending money to save money is a good idea. Getting a subsciption to the newspaper costs a couple bucks (but well worth it) and usually whatever you use to organize your coupons will put you out a few dollars (again, totally worth it). The other way I recommend saving money by utilizing coupons is buying “All You” Magazine.
“All You” is a magazine of coupons and money saving tips. It is only available for purchase at Wal-Mart. It’s about $2.30 (depending on taxes where you live) for the issue. It also contains lots of good articles on how to save money and links for web sites that can give you even more ideas. If you don’t want to buy it each month, you can subscribe to it. (Deal Seeking Mom has the best offer here I have ever seen, but it requires a little leg work.)
Every month when their new issue is about to come out, I will list all of the coupons in the upcoming issue so you can evaluate if buying it would be beneficial. If you think you can save more than the $2.30 it is probably worth your while!

Here’s my pictures from CVS today! Today was a small but productive trip that included introducing a friend of mine to the wonders of CVS. Here is a breakdown to show you how the coupons, sales and Extra Care Bucks can add up.
Total Price of eleven items combined before sales: $49.09
Price after sales with CVS card: $37.12
Price after coupons: $16.87
Extra Care Bucks left from last visit: $11.99
Total after ECB and adding tax: $6.74
Plus I got $7.00 ECB this time, so all in all I left with a profit of $.26
***Remember that CVS will stack coupons, so if you have more than one coupon for an item, you can use both. This is how I was able to save so much today!***
On Tuesday, September 15th Luvs will begin the “Take a Stand” campaign, a campaign against high diaper prices! When you register they will send you a coupon by mail for $5 off a pack of Luvs diapers!
This is going to be VERY popular, so be sure to register early so they do not run out of coupons!
