Kroger Private Selection Sweepstakes

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kroger® Private Selection® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Whenever I head to the grocery store, I usually scoop up those “go-to” items I want to have on hand for the week – whether it’s milk, bread, cheese, eggs, creamer (for coffee!), fresh veggies or deli meats for lunches throughout the week.  What are the staples you usually have on hand?

Kroger® wants to help our readers with everyday meal preparation.  As many of you know, Kroger® just opened a brand new supermarket off Holland Road in Virginia Beach. Use their Store Locator to find other locations throughout Hampton Roads (and the rest of the country) as well. I went in there for the first time and was blown away by their gourmet foods section.

Have any of you been inside or tried any of their foods yet?  Their Kroger® Private Selection® products help make your home-cooked meal gourmet quality, without having to pay the premium price – perfect for us frugal shoppers!

Their Private Selection®  meats, cheeses, frozen foods, snacks and desserts are perfect for dinner time with the family or an evening entertaining friends. From their thick, fluffy, crisp Belgian Waffles to Sautéed Vegetable Lasagna with tender vegetables, rolled durum pasta and 4 delectable cheeses, you’re sure to find something delicious. I picked up a few items yesterday and they were a hit at home, so check them out next time you run into Kroger® to get your deals of the week.

One lucky winner will have a premium culinary experience with a new Viking range, WUSTHOF 26 piece knife set, 10-‐piece Culinary Arts cookware set, and a $1,000 Kroger® Family of Stores Gift Card.  Private Selection is quality you can taste, and the value you deserve.

Kroger: New Digital Coupons = GREAT Cereal Deal

Kroger $6/4 coupon update! Apparently they didn’t mean to release the coupon until the mega event was over as they have pulled it and in some cases are not honoring it!!!

There’s a new $6.00 off 4 Big G Cereals Kroger Digital Coupon to load to your card. It says “use up to 5 times in a single transaction” on it. That means you use it in one transaction and it’s gone, but you can get the amount off up to 5 times in that single transaction if you buy the matching number of items.

Be sure to pay attention to the labels on shelves inside the store to make sure everything fits into the same deal.  Unlike the other grocery stores in my area if something at Kroger is on sale 5 for $10 you actually have to buy all 5 to get the sale price.

Be sure to double check the prices in your area- Kroger prices are NOT the same nationwide.

Here are your scenarios:

Buy 5 Big G Cereals @ $2.99 = $14.95
Get $5.00 off instantly = $9.95
Use $6.00 off 4 Kroger Digital Coupon
= $3.95 for 5 Boxes  ($0.79 each)

Buy 10 Big G Cereals @ $2.99 = $29.90
Get $10.00 off instantly = $19.90
Use  $6.00 off 4 Kroger Digital Coupon (minus $12.00)
=  $7.90 for 10 Boxes ($0.79 each)

Buy 15 comes out to $0.79 each as well… BUT, Buy 20 and you have enough to use the full 5 uses of the digital coupon in a single transaction and get the best deal:

Buy 20 Big G Cereals @ $2.99 = $59.80
Get $20.00 off instantly = $39.80
Use  $6.00 off 4 Kroger Digital Coupon (minus $30.00)
= $9.80 for 20 Boxes ($0.49 each!!!)

Please remember you CANNOT use any paper coupons along WITH the card coupons.  Kroger does not allow coupon stacking.

If you find a certain cereal works with this deal either leave a comment or tell me on A Frugal Chick’s Facebook Page!

In Hampton Roads the ceral is $3.49 so that makes it $.99 each after discount- STILL a great price!

Thanks My Litter!

Kroger Super Sale- Load Your Card Now!

Since Kroger has purchased Harris Teeter (the merger will not be complete for a few more months) I am trying to learn Kroger in case Harris Teeter is no more.  We haven’t had confirmation either way so don’t freak out- things might stay just as they are.

Kroger is having a Super Sale right now.  You can load some coupons onto your Kroger card and save REALLY big over the next few weeks.

Normally with coupons loaded to your card, you can only use them 1 time. These super sale coupons can be used up to 5 times in ONE transaction. So buy 5 items at a time to take advantage of the coupons.

Once you have used the coupons they will fall off your card but people are reporting with this sale you can go back online and load them again (see the dates below).

Here is what you need to know:

  • Limit 5 uses per digital coupon in a single transaction
  • Digital offers are not eligible on Manager’s Specials
  • Cannot be combined with manufacturer paper coupons on the purchase of a single item
  • Digital coupons do not double.
  • Not all items are available in all stores.
  • A limit of 150 coupons can be loaded per household at one time.
  • Download from August 11th – 21st THEN AGAIN from August 18th – 28th

How many times can I use these coupons?
You can use these coupons up to 5 times in a single transaction. You cannot use these coupons in more than one transaction or in different transactions on different days.
For example, if you purchase only 3 items for the applicable offer, your items will redeem at checkout but you will not be able to use the coupon again.

My coupon didn’t redeem in the store. What do I do?
If your discount was not applied properly, contact our Digital Coupons Tech Support team by clicking here.
