Black Friday 2010: Nintendo Wii

Getting lots of e-mails about the Nintendo Wii on Black Friday so here we go:

Bj’s Wholesale: $50 off Wii (no mention of the actual price)

Best Buy: $169.99 – Nintendo Wii w/Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuck, Wii Sports & Wii Sports Resort (Black or White).  Their ad reveals that they will only have 15 consoles per store, so you better queue up early on Black Friday if you plan to get one. They will start handing out tickets at 3 a.m. Since they have a limited amount I am sure this deal will not be available on-line.

Sears: $189.99 – Nintendo Wii Bundle (includes Wii sports, Wii Sports Resort and Motion plus)

Walmart (only on-line) $249.00 – Nintendo Wii Limited Edition Console Value Bundle (includes red console, Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk, extra set of controllers and select games)- also get cash back on ebates

HOWEVER- right now Overstock.com has the red bundle for $199.99 and it looks like the exact same bundle (but I could be missing something) AND you can get between 1% and 5% back using ebates to purchase it.

Black Friday 2010: Canon t2i

It seems many people have been looking for a good deal on the Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera for this holiday season.  I have to admit I almost choked on my orange juice this morning when I started looking at prices, but after having a conversation with the mom of a photographer today I am breathing a little easier.

So far the best deal I have seen so far is at Best Buy.  They will have the camera on sale (with the single lens) for $799.99.  And if you can get it online and shop through ebates, you can get a percentage in cash back and skip the sales tax!
