Locals- Giant Consignment Sale

Beginning St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) there is an amazing consignment sale in Virginia Beach.  I wanted to give you a little notice so you can plan ahead!

March 17th through the 19th at 4853 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach there is a giant consignment sale.  They carry a large number of teen sizes so be aware that this is not just a baby sale!

Everything is well-inspected at drop off, so items are in excellent condition, many new with tags. There will be at least 20,000 items!

Thursday morning (opening day) is very crowded, so they will begin handing out numbers at 8:30. The doors will open at 10 a.m. and the day ends at 7 p.m.  They also encourage shoppers (if possible) to leave your children and strollers at home since shopping bags are provided.

On Friday ( 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Saturday (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.), all yellow-tagged items are discounted (25% Fri, 50% Sat) so you are not missing great items by waiting til the second or third day to shop!

Also I will be there off and on all weekend.  If you see me (I will have on A Frugal Chick t-shirt) please say hi!

Food Lion Pepsi 2 Liters: $.75 each

Although I did all of the Food Lion deals for the week I wanted to highlight this Pepsi deal.

Food Lion is running “The Big Deal” sale this week.  If you buy 10 products off a certain list you get $5 off instantly.

This week Pepsi 2 Liters (Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist) are on sale 4 for $5, making them $1.25 each.  (Be sure you have an MVP card- you can get them free at the store.)

If you purchase 10 of them, it bring your total to  $12.50.  Then you take off your instant $5 and it brings the total down to $7.50 for 10!  That’s only $.75 each!

Thanks Peggy for bringing this great deal to my attention!
