Frugal Foods: Monkey Bread

I don’t post a whole lot of recipes, but I happen to LOVE Monkey Bread.  Sara at Budget Savvy Diva has a frugal recipe for this yummy treat!

Ingredients:

4 cans of refrigerated biscuits

1 1/2 c. brown sugar

1 T. cinnamon

3/4 c. butter or margarine

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut biscuits into quarters and coat with an extra mixture of cinnamon and sugar if desired, makes it EXTRA good!

Melt remaining ingredients together in a small saucepan.

Place half of biscuit quarters into a greased Bundt pan and sprinkle chopped pecans or raisins on top if you have them on hand.

Pour 1/2 of butter mixture over the top and repeat with remaining biscuits.

Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Enjoy pulling it apart piece by piece!

Price Matching at Walmart

One of the great ways to save money at Walmart is to price match.  There are some rules involved in price matching and luckily I know a professional who can help you (and me) understand.

Click here to check out this great post from Paul at I Heart The Mart.  He has a video and a list of all the rules involved!

Walmart- New E-Circulars

Have you ever noticed that Walmart circulars are sort of hit or miss in the paper?  You never know if one is going to appear (unless it’s the week before a holiday).

Well Walmart has decided to remedy that problem by posting their circulars on-line.  There will be a new ad on-line weekly.

To demonstrate their interest in moving toward more online shopping, all items will be available for online purchase in these circulars that come between the Sunday ones.  Most will be available for free site to store shipping as well.

If you shop Walmart online, be sure to use ebates and get cash back!

Thanks Consumer Queen!
