September 24th- Free Museum Day

On September 24th thousands of museums across the U.S. will open their doors for FREE!

You do have to get a ticket through their website but it is free.  It’s a ticket with admission for two.

One of my favorite museums as a kid, The Children’s Museum in Portsmouth, VA is included on the list!

There are museums from all over the country so check out the list- there might be one near you!

Amazon Free Cookbook Download: Dinners Made Easy

This cookbook you can download to your PC or your Kindle was published by Stoneyfield Farms, so I would imagine the recipes have some yogurt and milk products in them.

And from the reviews most of the recipes have yogurt in them!

Right now you can download Dinners Made Easy for free.  Check out the recipes and see what you think!

Earn A Free Kindle Using SavingStar (A Frugal Chick Video)

Many of you have told me you are interested in purchasing Kindles for the upcoming holidays.  And I have to tell you- odds are it is not going to go on sale.

So instead of searching for one used or hoping for Amazon’s generosity you can earn Amazon credit using SavingStar to get a free kindle.

Here is my video on how to use SavingStar to earn your free Kindle (or anything else that you want on Amazon)!

Amazon: Free Digital Download “The Secret Garden”

This was one of my favorite books in middle school.

Some of the movie versions have been very good.

And it is one of my favorite musicals of all time (featuring the amazing Mandy Patinkin).

Right now you can download “The Secret Garden” to your Kindle of PC for free.

Share this amazing story with a whole new generation!

Free Music Download: “Feels Like The First Time” Foreigner

Anyone else having flashbacks already?

If you haven’t downloaded music from Amazon.com to your PC yet, it is very easy to do.

Mine downloads directly into Itunes so I don’t have to really mess with anything.

And today’s FREE music download has already inspired me to tight roll my jeans- “Feels Like The First Time” by Foreigner.

It will take a minute to download and bring back years of memories!
