Amazon Free Download: The Wind In The Willows

One of my favorite childhood memories is riding “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride” at Disneyworld.

I had no idea at the time that it was based on an actual book! I just thought it was fun.

Introduce your kids (or yourself) to “The Wind In The Willows“.  You can download it for free to your PC, Kindle and several other tablets!

New Swagbucks Members Get 100 Points for Signing Up

If you don’t use Swagbucks, you need to check it out!  Especially on Fridays where you can get as many as 100 points for a search!

Plus this weekend use the code BIGTIMEBUCKS when you sign up and get 100 FREE points!

Swagbucks is a search engine, powered by Google, that gives you points for searching the internet. Just use it like you would Google or Bing, but you earn points for seaches. After you have banked enough points, you can trade them in for free items! Plus, they often offer special Swag Codes for additional points as well, so it’s not hard to rack up enough points to redeem often!

Check out my post here on how to maximize your Swagbucks!

With Swagbucks you can earn gift cards (my personal favorite) and other rewards just by searching the internet. IPods, LCD televisions, and IPhones are some of the more fun items in the Swag Store.  It’s only 450 swag points to get a $5 Amazon gift card- you can be saving those for the holidays!

Plus, if you use this link here you earn Swag Bucks just for signing up!

Amazon FREE Book Download: Love From The Ashes

This book caught my eye because I had just watched a special on the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco. You can download Love From The Ashes for free!

It sounds like another romantic tear jerker!

Here is the plot synopsis: During the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire, privileged Grace Wyne and Irish immigrant Nathaniel Dempsey desperately try to rescue love from the ashes.

Grace and Nate seek freedom and a new life in San Francisco, but society, her family, and forces of nature, wage war against them.

Nate is torn by the death of his family in Ireland, yet he finds Grace’s spirit is a balm for his soul. She joins a suffragette organization and, when she encounters scorn and violence, Nate vows to protect her.

She is determined to marry for love, and now is stunned by her feelings for a man far beneath her social status. There is more than one danger to face, for the earth is unstable and their forbidden love is a sure formula for disaster.

When the earth trembles and breaks apart, no one knows who will live to love again…or who will die.

And did you see the new kindles?  They are so exciting starting at $79!

FREE Pumpkin Stencils

Gosh I wish we had used these when I was a kid.

I am not artsy at all- my pumpkins were always sort of rough.

Right now on Better Homes and Gardens website you can download some free pumpkin stencils!  And they will make a $2.00 donation to Big Brother, Big Sister for every download!

Thanks The Centsible Family!
