My Survey Open To New Participants

Taking surveys online can be a fantastic way to earn some cool prizes- usually things like gift cards and movie tickets (code: stocking stuffers, girl’s night out etc).

MySurvey.com has opened up to new participants.    They do ask for quite a bit of information (not any financial info) but it’s because they want to be sure to qualify you for the surveys relevant to you.  When you complete those surveys you earn points and you can trade those in for some cool prizes.

I have not used MySurvey.com but I talked to some of my blogger friends personally this morning about it.  There are alot of survey companies- I hate recommending them and then they end up being too spammy or asking for your credit card.

So if you have the time, or can take surveys while you watch television or cook dinner, check out MySurvey.com.  They could help you get some extra perks around the house!

Free Sample of Bic Pens Today On Facebook

Update: Bic has announced they will be giving away 130 pens every day on Facebook.  They only have about 4000 fans so I should be pretty easy to snag one once the fever has died down!

Sometime today (they haven’t released a time) BIC will be giving away free sample packs of their pens on facebook.

I have no idea how many samples they will be giving or what time, but if you check periodically you may get lucky!

Week #6: Crossfit Chesapeake Challenge

So this week ended the 6th week of my time working with CrossFit Chesapeake.  I have learned SO much.

This week my schedule was crazy so I had to work out at odd times.  I was able to take some of what I have learned and implement on my own since I couldn’t get out during their class times (6 a.m., 8 a.m. 12 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.).  I was able to see how much stronger I have gotten.

To date my weight loss is just around 10 pounds.  I reached into the back of the closet this week and pull out some clothes I haven’t been able to wear in a while.  Clothes I have missed- it’s like having a new wardrobe.

If you are interested in checking out CrossFit you can try it free for a week at CrossFit Chesapeake.  Their staff is fantastic and fun.  They spend alot of time with you personally and can help you figure out how to create a manageable nutrition plan and exercises that work for you.  Come out and try the free week- you won’t regret it!
