Black Friday “Week” at Amazon

Amazon is starting their Black Friday sales today.  They are going to last all week long.

Last year the discounts were very steep and the deals went quickly.  As I see them I will try to post, but if you are by a computer today you may want to just stop by periodically and see what it is on sale.

Don’t forget that any purchase on Amazon over $25 includes FREE super saver shipping and in most states you don’t pay sales tax.  So if something is the same price on Amazon as it is at your local store it will actually be cheaper if you don’t pay sales tax on those purchases.

Happy Bargain Hunting!

Give Freely

For those of you who missed my earlier post this week, I have begun working with several bloggers around the country who find the best deals on groceries and household supplies.

The goal is to present you each week with freebies (or things under $1) from your local grocery stores.  Because these deals are so inexpensive we are hoping that you will spend the extra few cents to pick up a spare item to donate to your community center, church, local food bank or shelter.  Even if the items aren’t food, they can often be used in some way!

This gives you the opportunity to Give Freely!
