Amazon Kindle: 2nd Generation $89

Nope, this isn’t a joke.  On Black Friday at 12 p.m. EST the Kindle will be a Gold Box Deal.  You don’t get built-in Wi-Fi, but you do get 3G wireless, and while the contrast level certainly is better on the latest Kindle, the screen is quite readable.

So if you aren’t a person that has to have the latest and greatest this is a good chance to grab a Kindle at a VERY reasonable price.  Now remember they will have a limited quantity so I would just online as close to noon as possible and try to grab this deal!

Black Friday “Week” at Amazon

Amazon is starting their Black Friday sales today.  They are going to last all week long.

Last year the discounts were very steep and the deals went quickly.  As I see them I will try to post, but if you are by a computer today you may want to just stop by periodically and see what it is on sale.

Don’t forget that any purchase on Amazon over $25 includes FREE super saver shipping and in most states you don’t pay sales tax.  So if something is the same price on Amazon as it is at your local store it will actually be cheaper if you don’t pay sales tax on those purchases.

Happy Bargain Hunting!
