All You Magazine: As low as $.62 an issue

Have you been waiting for a deal to get your subscription to All You Magazine?  All You is a great magazine- full of money saving ideas and coupons!  It costs $1.88 an issue at Walmart (the only place you can buy it off the shelf) and usually a year subscription is around $20 ($1.66 an issue).  Today you can snag it for as low as $.62 an issue.

Here is how to do it:

Sign into or sign up for Shop at Home (if you haven’t signed up, it’s free)

On the right side are the WILD deals of the day.  One of them is 56% cash back on Magazines.com.  Click on “View.”

This will pull up all the info on Magazines.com.  Click on buy to take you to their site.  Shop At Home will remember you came through them, so you will get your rebate.

The cost for 1 year is $19.97 and the cost for 2 years is $34. Make your selection and pay the full amount.

Within 30 days (usually it’s faster) 56% of what you spend will be deposited into your Shop At Home account and they will mail you a check!

So to break it down if you get a two year subscription you pay $34 out of pocket.  Your rebate will be $19.04, making your total $14.96 for two years.  That is $.62 an issue!

Thanks The Coupon Challenge!

Locals: Children’s Consignment Sale 8/18 – 8/20

It’s that time of year again- the Designer Consignors Consignment Sale.  This is a fantastic consignment sale for kids clothing, toys and furniture.  There are lots of great sales in the area but this is one I have actually been to so I can vouch for it’s amazingness.  I was especially overwhelmed by the racks and racks of little girl clothes!

The sale is at Ascension Catholic Community Center (4853 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach) although it is not affiliated with the church. The sale dates are August 18th and 19th (from 10-7) and August 20th(from 10-2).

Thursday morning they give out numbers at 8:30 to secure your place in line.  Last year my sister and I got a number and then headed down to Kempsville Grill for breakfast (there is a BOGO in the entertainment book).  It was a nice morning out.

They are now accepting Discover, Mastercard and VISA as well, but I always recommend just bringing cash.  Much easier!  I know this is a little way off but I wanted to give you a heads up so you can plan!  It’s worth the time!

HOT Amazon Deal: Cascade Action Pacs (Stock Up Price)

I love Cascade Action Pacs.  In my humble opinion they work best in my dishwasher.

Right now on Amazon you can grab a pretty good deal on them- especially for having them delivered to your front door.

Cascade ActionPacs, Dishwasher Detergent (60-count Container) are on sale for $12.97.  Click on the Subscribe & Save option (you can cancel later) and it brings it down to $11.02.  PLUS on the bottom of the product page you can click on the coupon for $1 off bringing the price down to $10.02.

That is just around $.16 per load.  That’s a VERY good price for the large container!  Plus you get free shipping!

Locals: SNO TO GO PUNCH CARD

If I could scream the title of this post to anyone who lives around the Williamsburg area I would.

I can not communicate to you properly how amazing Sno To Go is.  There is no way to explain about the most amazing soft serve ice cream in the entire world wrapped in the most tasty sno cone created.  There is no way to explain how the mix of those two things makes the most incredible taste combination ever.  I have made the hour drive just to get one of these and then head home after crying because it was gone.

Have I made my point?  You can’t really explain magic but I did the best I could.

Today on Living Social you can get a punch card for 5 small sno-balls (sno cone and ice cream) for $10 at Sno-To-Go in Williamsburg, VA.  That’s 50% off their regular prices (which are totally worth it).  Their store is right across from the giant Yankee Candle store so you can have two fun experiences at once.

So trust A Frugal Chick- take advantage of today’s Living Social deal- you will not regret it!
