Bath and Body Works: Semi-Annual Sale

Bath and Body Works is having their semi-annual sale online!

This means body wash is as low as $3 as well as a large selection of lotions and other products.

And their holidays items are VERY inexpensive- I am seeing stuff for under $1!

AND the code HELLOSALE20 should take 20% off your order.

Sadly there doesn’t seem to be free shipping so be sure you are getting good deals!

Do You Rain Check? I Do!

Today I made a special trip to Harris Teeter for cherries.  They have cherries on sale through tomorrow and I have already eaten quite a few of them this week.  I wanted to grab some more before the sale was over.

I walked in, mouth watering.  In front of me is the big bin with the cherries sign on the front… empty.  No cherries for me.

Dejected I headed to customer service.

Why?

To get a rain check for the cherries.

Few people think about getting rain checks for produce but it is actually what most of my rain checks have been for.  If you store has a really good price on produce they are probably going to run out at some point.  I see it all the time on grapes and cherries.

At Harris Teeter you can get a rain check for any sale item in the flyer.  It means that when the item is back in stock no matter what the price you can purchase the item at the sale price.  I got a rain check today for 4 lbs of cherries so when they have them back in stock I can still get them at the sale price.

Most stores have slightly difference rain check policies so be sure to check out your local store.  Rain checks can be a great way to save on produce!

Do you Rain Check?

Diaper Deals of the Week 6/18

Based on the overall priced per diaper this week’s best deals (in order) are Pampers Diapers at CVS and possibly Pampers or Huggies Giant Box Diapers depending on the box size. Otherwise all other deals are better online.

The Centsible Family has created a post centered on the current diaper deals available and include the price after savings and coupons (when available) to help determine your best deal of the week. This will help you know when to stock up and when to pass on a deal based on the overall costs!

To figure out the price per diaper at the store take the lowest price of diapers (after all discounts and rewards) and divide the price by the number of diapers in the package on sale. For example:

Huggies Jumbo Pack Diapers  – $9.99
– $2/1 Package Huggies Coupon
– $2 RR at Walgreens
= $5.99
* Example Size 4 31ct = $0.19 per diaper

Amazon

Sign up for Subscribe & Save and Amazon Mom to save 20% off the price of select diapers plus free shipping. You have the option to continue to receive the product on a regular basis or cancel any additional orders by canceling your subscription. As of October 13, 2011 Amazon Mom program offers only 20% off diapers. Amazon prices and discounts are subject to change at any moment.

Amazon: Furminator $12.49

I know I have talked before about how incredible I think the Furminator is.

Basically it’s a magic brush for your cat or dog. Most groomers use this product (or one like it) to groom the animals that come into their businesses. I use mine on my cat once a week and can not tell you the difference it makes in my house.

And the 3,407 5-star ratings for this product back me up.

Right now on Amazon you can get the 4″ FURminator deShedding Tool for $12.49- which is less than I even paid for mine.

Check it out- I promise it will change your life!

As always this is Amazon- the price can change at any moment!
