Welcome to New Readers & some easy savings at Target and CVS!

To those of you who are stopping by for the first time, welcome! I hope that you find this blog beneficial in helping you save money! My goal is to provide EASY ways for you to save. Once you begin you will find it becomes easier (and sometimes you actually have fun!)

On the top of this page there is a link titled “The Masters”. These are some of the best bloggers out there- giving financial advice and money saving ideas. Together we all want you to Live Well Without Going Broke!

One of the most simple ways you can save at the store is to bring your own bag. Several chains are offering incentives to customers who bring their own. Here are two of them:

At most Targets now, they will give you $.05 off your purchase if you bring your own bag. Target also takes coupons (and will let you use both a Target coupon and a manufacturers coupon on the same item), so this can add to some already big savings!

CVS also has a program where you can earn 1 Extra Care Buck (think of it as a $1 CVS gift certificate) every four times you bring your own bag. Check my post here for all the details.

Please feel free to come in and look around. Here are some of the most helpful posts:

I made a trip to Rite Aid today. I spent $7.50 and got items worth $8.00 in rebates. So I get to keep all 4 items and will make a profit of $.50. It’s much easier than you think!

Get a percentage back on almost every purchase you make on-line through ebates. It only takes a few seconds!

Opinion Outpost is a great website that will pay you to take surveys. Of all the sites out there, this is the only one I recommend. Check out the information here.

Need to get that free useable bag to save at Target and CVS? Check out how to get it free from Chi-Chi’s.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail me at afrugalchick@aol.com. I love to hear from readers!
