Amazon-Easy Lunchboxes (Set of 4) $13.95

If you are anything like me, packing lunches in the mornings are not fun. I am always afraid of forgetting something or struggling to make it all fit. Last year I ordered Easy Lunchboxes for the kiddos lunches and my stress level while making lunches went away! My kiddos like them too because their food stays separate and they do not have to open baggies.  We have been using the boxes on a regular basis for over a year now and they still look new.

Amazon is currently selling the EasyLunchboxes 3-compartment Bento Lunch Box Containers (Set of 4) for $13.95 and they do qualify for free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

I know we all have back to school on the brain and our budgets are tight with the extra expenses but this is definitely worth the money and will save you time in the mornings too!

Amazon prices can change at any time so be sure to get yours today.

Jana’s Summer Book Review: Give That Back Jack

As a middle school English teacher and now a librarian I have read a lot of books. A LOT OF BOOKS! From easy readers, young adult, adult, and non-fiction; you name it I have read it. With so many good classics and new books coming out daily I have learned to become quite critical of what I read. For me a good book has good character development, plot, and whether or not it hooks me in within the first couple of chapters.

This summer I have a long list of books to read and plan to share only what I would consider to be the “must reads” with you.

The second book I would like to share with you is a children’s book that I was given recently for my kids called Give That Back, Jack!: A Cautionary Tale (Cautionary Tales)
written by Phil Cox and illustrated by Jan McCafferty.

Written for ages 4 and up it is a cautionary tale about a little boy named Jack who thinks everything from pencils, toys, and animals should belong to him so he takes them. In the end he learns his lesson in a rather amusing way.

Give That Back, Jack is part of a series of cautionary tales all of which try and teach young children the difference between right and wrong in a short rhythmic story with fun cheerful drawings.

I consider this book a summer hit because my kids are constantly asking me to read it to them and I never tire of it either! They can now be a part of the story by reciting some of the repetitive lines with me which they love as well.

I can not wait to check out some of the other books in the series. I am sure my kids will be just as excited as I am to read them.
