When speaking to the manager about coupon overage he stated, if the item is a sale item and you occur overage from the double coupon you would get the overage taken off your bill.
If you occur overage on a item that is not on sale due to doubling, you only recieve $.01 overage for that item.
No money will be given back to the coustmer.
With my items I recieved this morning, I have a total overage of 4.21 I made sure I purchase a pack of chicken(which was on sale $.77 lb) for $4.00 which ended up being “free”

Yes, they have been doing this every Tues., and I think it’s going to be a weekly thing. There is also a $5.00 off any $25 purchase available online. Go to the Southern Savers website. Cutter insect repellent is on sale Buy 1 get 1 free, reg. $4.99 (You can but one for $2.50). There are coupons on some packages that are worth .55 off ($1.10 doubled), and there was also one in the paper today for $1.50 off. On Tues. they would double the $1.50 coupon, for $3.00 off, making it free. : )
