Black Friday 2010: Price Matching Policies

by Laura on November 18, 2010

During the year several stores offer price matching policies. Sears, Target and Walmart are larger retailers that will match prices if you bring in offers from competing stores on a normal day.

So I wanted to dig around and see who would do price matching on Black Friday.  Target does not offer price matching on the day after Thanksgiving, and neither does Sears.

Walmart will be doing price matching on Black Friday so be sure to bring their competitors ads with you.  They also will match Doorbuster sales at other stores.

Amazon only price-matches TV purchases. For TVs, you must email via a link on your order page for “found a lower price.”

Home Depot and Lowe’s have said they will continue their “10% off our competitors lowest price” policy.

Other than that, everywhere else I have found either says they will not match or it varies by store.
