AboutOne- The Personal, Digital Organizer

by Laura on August 10, 2011

I have to be honest… I am not a very organized person.  Without Google Calendar I would never know where I need to be.  So while my coupon binder and my financial situation are uber organized, the rest pretty much just runs without me.

Now there is a new internet site to help with this.  AboutOne  is a free site where you can safely store and manage your precious information: photos, children’s artwork and health, education and home records for example.

If you have ever had a computer crash and lost photographs forever AboutOne can help you avoid that problem.  By storing them on their site, you will have access to those photos no matter where you are.   The same could apply with your children’s shot records, transcripts and other information.

Sharon at Mom on Dealz reviewed AboutOneand had this to say:

“Upon setting up an account you are introduced to your very own pages that are extremely relevant and useful to any parent!  There is a printables page where you can print a family newletter, caregiver/babysitter sheet, and even an education history (this comes in handy at the beginning of each school year when there are a gazillion forms to fill out and with applying to college with older children).  There is a “Health” section that allows you to keep track of family doctors, appointments and online health records.  Another useful page is the “Home” page.  On this page you can store all the things having to do with your home and any other properties you may own or rent.  Things like repairs, maintenance, and pest control contact information can be stored here.

If you’re like me you may be worried about the security of the site.  Have no fear, the creators of AboutOne.com have thought of that too!  They use the same technology and practices that banks use.  There are 5 of the top security companies working with the site to make it secure, includeing TRUSTe and McAfee Secure.”

You can try AboutOne free by clicking here for 17 full days.  I LOVE their trial period because it is for 17 days of your choosing.  If you only log in once a week that would be almost half a year of using their service.  If after your 17 days you still like it, the cost is only $30 a year.  And you do not have to put your credit card information in until you decide you want to purchase.

So click here to see AboutOne and decide if it will be a good tool for your family.
