You know how some of those couponers you see on television have too much toothpaste? And they say it’s so hard not to get too many because they are free?
I have that problem with hair elastics.
I probably have 100 of them in my condo right now. And they are free at Rite Aid starting 4/1/12. And I want to go get more.
So to channel my couponing energy (and keep myself from getting more) I thought I would let you know what I would do at Rite Aid this week:
Transaction #1:
Scunci Elastics (18 ct.), $1.99
Pay $1.99 Out of Pocket
Receive $1.99 in Up Rewards for next transaction
Transaction #2:
Gillette Body Wash (16 to 18 oz.), $3.99
Use $1/1 Gillette Body Wash or Deodorant, exp. 4/30/12 (P&G 04/01/12)
Use $1.99 in Up Rewards from Transaction #1
Pay $1 Out of Pocket
Receive $2 in Up Rewards
Transaction #3:
Halls Cough Drops (20 to 25 ct.) or Defense (30 ct.), 2/$3
$1/2 Halls Drops, exp. 5/20/12 (SS 03/25/12 R)
OR $1/2 Halls Product, exp. 4/2/12 (SS 02/05/12 R)
Use $2 in Up Rewards from Transaction #2
Final Price: FREE
Receive $1 in Up Rewards
And then you spend the $1 on candy to reward yourself or save it for your next trip!
So for $2.99 (plus tax) you get 2 bags of cough drops, hair elastics and body wash!

Thanks for the tips… I used my up rewards to pay $1.09 for a gallon of PET milk.
I love Rite Aid too! Last week they had many items 75% off. I usually go to Rite Aid once a week to purchase sale items. The Wellness Card is the best! It’s a good saving tool.
